Mater Dei put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Pace Academy Knights by a score of 2-0.

Mater Dei was led to victory by Lizzy Robinson and Sam Capinpin. Robinson had eight digs and two aces, while Capinpin had 14 assists and four digs. Emma Kingston also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Defeat or not, Pace Academy got some senior leadership from Gabby Emch and Britton McGurn. Emch had 13 digs and two aces, while McGurn had six digs and four assists.

Mater Dei's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Pace Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.

Mater Dei has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cornerstone Christian on the 30th. As for Pace Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Calvary Christian on the 30th.
