Basketball Recap: Eva Hartzell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Norfolk Catholic over Crofton

Norfolk Catholic suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Crofton Warriors, falling 64-38. The Knights have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Norfolk Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Eva Hartzell, who posted 11 points. Mallory Wolf was another key player, putting up six points.

Crofton was led to victory by Jaisie Janssen and Cassie Allen. Janssen to rack up 20 points and eight rebounds, while Allen en route to 12 points and four steals. Allen has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sammie Allen, who earned seven points.
