Basketball Recap: Boulder Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Boulder faced off against Erie on Thursday. The matchup between the Panthers and the Tigers didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 59-43. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Boulder lost, don't look at Lake Smith. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Pierce Dayton, who put up eight points.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Erie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
