Basketball Game Preview: Gallatin Bulldogs vs. Albany Warriors

Gallatin has gone 7-1 against Albany recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Gallatin Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Albany Warriors at 6:00 p.m.

Gallatin is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 15th on Thursday. They came up short against Savannah, falling 62-42. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Savages are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, Albany waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 57-50.

Albany's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. As for Gallatin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Gallatin came up short against Albany when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 46-37. Can Gallatin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
