Volleyball Recap: Eagle Valley Takes a Loss

Eagle Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons, falling 3-0.

Riley Weatherred paced Eagle Valley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Weatherred got some help from Kaitlyn Garvey and her 12 assists. Reese Wright controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jayda Peckham was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 18 assists and two aces.

Eagle Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Coming up, Eagle Valley will face off against Summit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Conifer on the 25th.
