 Holmes can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northeastern Eagles  a   15-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Holmes sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
  Mia Hoffer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Hoffer was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Ainsley Parrish was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.  Carmen Tocco was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-1.
 Holmes pushed their record up to 7-1 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.8 runs per game. As for Northeastern, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holmes will  challenge Bear Grass Charter at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Holmes' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so Bear Grass Charter's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Northeastern, they will head out on the road to  take on  Holmes at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
