Baseball Recap: Thoreau Comes Up Short

Thoreau fell victim to Laguna Acoma and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against Laguna Acoma, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Laguna Acoma this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.

Thoreau's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Laguna Acoma, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Thoreau will challenge Navajo Pine at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Thoreau and four for Navajo Pine. As for Laguna Acoma, they have already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Miyamura on the 25th.
