Baseball Recap: Ballinger Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

After losing to Winters the last time they met, Ballinger decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ballinger Bearcats walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Winters Blizzards on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by exactly four runs.

Ballinger's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Winters, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1-1.

Ballinger will have a chance to go back-to-back against Winters: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
