Volleyball Recap: Cypress Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cypress Creek lost against Wiregrass Ranch on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Coyotes came up short against the Bulls, falling 3-0.

While Cypress Creek was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Addison Wilkes paced Cypress Creek's offense, picking up 16 kills. Wilkes got some help from Ava Hofferberth and her 21 assists. Mia Devane controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wiregrass Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamryn Hill, who had 13 kills, three digs, and one block. Those 13 kills gave Hill a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ezgi Demirok, who had 17 assists and eight digs.

Cypress Creek now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Cypress Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against North Tampa Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Angeline Academy of Innovation on the 2nd.
