Volleyball Recap: Cypress Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cypress Creek lost against Wiregrass Ranch on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Coyotes lost 3-0 to the Bulls.

Cypress Creek was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Addison Wilkes paced Cypress Creek's offense, picking up 16 kills. Wilkes got some help from Ava Hofferberth and her 21 assists. Mia Devane controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wiregrass Ranch was led to victory by Ezgi Demirok and Aliah Jimenez. Demirok had 17 assists and eight digs, while Jimenez had 14 assists and four digs.

Cypress Creek now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Cypress Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against North Tampa Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Angeline Academy of Innovation on the 2nd.
