Peru waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the AuSable Valley Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Tuesday.

Peru was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-19.

Natalia Gushlaw-Mirville paced Peru's offense, picking up eight kills. Gushlaw-Mirville really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Olivia Gauthier controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Peru's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for AuSable Valley, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Peru and AuSable Valley will both be playing Plattsburgh the next time they take the court. The Nighthawks will host the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
