Basketball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Odessa Tigers, falling 71-32. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in January of 2020.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Odessa, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Columbia Lions take on the Republic Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Odessa will take on Mary Walker in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
