Softball Recap: Thorndale Falls Short of Danbury in the Playoffs

Thorndale and Danbury squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Thorndale had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since February 28th.

Thorndale's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Danbury, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Thorndale beat Danbury by a score of 2-0 later that day.
