Baseball Recap: St. Helens Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for St. Helens's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Scappoose Indians on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

St. Helens has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Scappoose, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

While St. Helens had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
