Football Game Preview: Orangewood Christian Rams vs. Trinity Christian Academy Eagles

The Orangewood Christian Rams will square off against the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Orangewood Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Orangewood Christian's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 39-0 win over Lake Mary Prep. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rams had established a 33 point advantage.

Orangewood Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paige McClarnon, who rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Avery McDonald, who rushed for 57 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Atlantic, falling 40-0.

Orangewood Christian's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
