Eastern Lebanon County is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will host the Cocalico Eagles at 4:15 p.m. Eastern Lebanon County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Eastern Lebanon County took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Lebanon. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Cedars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Wyatt Parker made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Parker was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that he has scored this season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tanner Hibshman, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Tyce Boyer was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
Cocalico came out on top against Cedar Crest on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Falcons 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 21, 2025.
Like Eastern Lebanon County, Cocalico also got a great game from a two-way player: Aiden Davis. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Davis was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Noah Zimmerman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Keffer, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
Cocalico hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.
Cocalico's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Eastern Lebanon County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Eastern Lebanon County has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Cocalico struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Eastern Lebanon County was able to grind out a solid win over Cocalico when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 7-3. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
