Softball Recap: Boyne City Gets the Win

Boyne City took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Grayling, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Ramblers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Vikings on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Ramblers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sadie Bush was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Boyne City picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Grayling, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Boyne City will head out to square off against Plymouth Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grayling, they will be playing at home against Tawas Area at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
