West Marion's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-53 win over the Sumrall Bobcats. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

West Marion got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Bullock out in front who shot 67% from the field en route to 28 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was James Stampley, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards.

West Marion's record is now 3-1. As for Sumrall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Marion will venture away from home to face off against North Forrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sumrall, they will head out to challenge Purvis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
