The Lafayette Commodores will face off against the South Panola Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Lafayette is returning to their home field after beating Starkville on theirs, despite the fact Starkville has dominated at home this season. The Commodores came out on top in a nail-biter against the Yellowjackets on Thursday, sneaking past 6-4. That's two games straight that the Commodores have won by exactly two runs.

Landon Cobbs was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Levi Hamm was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
