Basketball Recap: Wallkill Valley Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Wallkill Valley won the last time they faced High Point and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Wallkill Valley Rangers' way against the High Point Wildcats as the Wallkill Valley Rangers made off with a 78-58 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rangers have posted against the Wildcats since December 17, 2021.

Wallkill Valley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for High Point, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wallkill Valley will venture away from home to square off against Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vernon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Wallkill Valley likes a good challenge. High Point has already played their next contest (against Lenape Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
