Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bledsoe County). They were the clear victors by a 40-14 margin over the Monterey Wildcats on Thursday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Wildcats are ranked 292nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Bledsoe County's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.7 points over those games. As for Monterey, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Bledsoe County nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
