Softball Recap: North Greene's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Greene barely beat Cloudland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies blew past the Highlanders 13-2 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three games in a row.

North Greene's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cloudland, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-12.

Coming up, North Greene will welcome Chuckey-Doak at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cloudland, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Unaka at 5:00 p.m.
