Basketball Recap: Benton Central Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Benton Central lost against Twin Lakes back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Benton Central Bison fell 46-33 to the Twin Lakes Indians. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Twin Lakes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Kaufmann, who posted 11 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Keaton Miller, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 13 points and five boards.

Benton Central's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-8. As for Twin Lakes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Benton Central will head out on the road to face off against Lafayette Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Twin Lakes, they will welcome Kankakee Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Twin Lakes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.
