Baseball Recap: Yucaipa's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Yucaipa won the last time they faced Beaumont and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 5-2 win over the Cougars. The victory was some much needed relief for the Thunderbirds as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Logan Pashman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Yucaipa saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landyn Von Kaenel, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Yucaipa's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Beaumont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Yucaipa will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
