Basketball Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

Carroll County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 55-41 fall against the Gallatin County Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 42-39 defeat back in January.

Carroll County's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Gallatin County, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Carroll County will challenge Columbus Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gallatin County, they will take on Bracken County at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bracken County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Gallatin County surely won't give up without a fight.
