Byron Nelson is 8-2 against V.R. Eaton since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bobcat will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Byron Nelson will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 19-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Kaitlyn Francis, who had nine digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, V.R. Eaton didn't have quite enough to beat Southlake Carroll on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost seven in a row.

V.R. Eaton wouldn't go down easily and took Southlake Carroll into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 15-25, 21-25, 15-7.

Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 33-0. As for V.R. Eaton, their loss dropped their record down to 21-14.

Byron Nelson took their win against V.R. Eaton in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcat since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
