Basketball Game Preview: South Garner Titans vs. NC GBB Academy National Eagles

The South Garner Titans will be taking part in a tournament against the NC GBB Academy National Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Garner knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully NC GBB Academy National likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, South Garner made easy work of Dudley and carried off a 59-35 win. Fans of the Titans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, NC GBB Academy National lost to Cannon on the road by a 63-49 margin on Tuesday. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

NC GBB Academy National's defeat dropped their record down to 5-1. As for South Garner, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

South Garner ended up a good deal behind NC GBB Academy National in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 77-61. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
