Basketball Recap: Kalyne Rodriguez Key Part of a Team Effort in Jaguars Win

Pritzker won the last time they faced The Noble Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Pritzker Jaguars were the clear victor by a 46-24 margin over The Noble Academy Griffins. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Pritzker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kalyne Rodriguez out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Rodriguez's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ezrielle Sanders, who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and four steals.

Pritzker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in 11 consecutive matchups.

Ashley Harding and Diana Gidey certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Harding had ten points, while Gidey scored nine points.

Pritzker's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for The Noble Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pritzker will face off against Muchin College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Muchin College Prep's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so Pritzker's offense will have their work cut out for them. The Noble Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
