            For the second straight game, Purcell will face off against Cache. The Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Purcell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season.
Purcell is probably headed into the  matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Cache just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Monday. They took  a  6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.
For Cache's part,  Jett Pineda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on seven hits.
 At the plate, Cache saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Reed Gillispie, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Gillispie has posted since back in March.
 The  victory (which was Cache's third in a row) raised their record to 11-12. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Purcell, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12.
