Volleyball Recap: Holbrook's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

Holbrook came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Fontbonne Academy Ducks, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ducks earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

While Holbrook was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 25-20.

Fontbonne Academy found their leader in sophomore Tayla Jiang, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Jiang.
