Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln suffered their closest defeat since February 28, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters by a score of 32-30.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Abraham Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Haja Lewis, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Ilisah Butler, who had eight points.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Abraham Lincoln, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Lincoln will challenge Brooklyn Technical at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Abraham Lincoln, they will face off against Academy at Palumbo at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Abraham Lincoln's defense has only allowed 23.1 points per game this season, so Academy at Palumbo's offense will have their work cut out for them.
