Soccer Recap: Douglas Comes Up Short

Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Auburn Rockets. Douglas were not able to make up for their loss to Auburn from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Auburn, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Douglas will be playing in front of their home fans against Nipmuc Regional at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Auburn, they are taking a road trip to challenge Blackstone Valley RVT at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
