Moapa Valley skates past Mohave Accelerated with ease

Recap: Moapa Valley Pirates vs. Mohave Accelerated Patriots

The Moapa Valley Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Mohave Accelerated 58-21 on the road. With that victory, Moapa Valley brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moapa Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andie Wood, who scored 18 points along with three steals. The match was Wood's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Haylie Western was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Mohave Accelerated still got an impressive performance from Bronte Gee, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.

The victory makes it two in a row for Moapa Valley and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Mohave Accelerated, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-2.

Moapa Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face River Valley at 4:30 p.m. on December 20th. River Valley is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Mohave Accelerated, they will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
