Hoover extended their postseason success on Friday against Grissom. They blew past the Tigers 14-6. The Buccaneers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hoover and bumps their season record up to 22-17. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Grissom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-12.

Coming up, Hoover will take on Tuscaloosa County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight. Grissom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
