Santa Rosa Academy had won four straight home games and Jacob Goode did his part to make it five on Friday. The Rangers claimed a resounding 42-14 victory over the Silver Valley Trojans for which the team can thank Goode, who rushed for 150 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 45 yards and one touchdown. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 106.4 rushing yards per game.

When it comes to explaining why Silver Valley lost, don't look at Noah Durrah. Despite the final result, he rushed for 245 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. What's more, he's the matchup marked his fourth straight with at least 118.

Santa Rosa Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Silver Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
