Recap: Archbishop Bergan Knights vs. Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers
There's no place like home for the Archbishop Bergan Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 70-47 margin over Bancroft-Rosalie. This was payback for Archbishop Bergan, who suffered a 56-43 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Archbishop Bergan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Eggen out in front who scored 20 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Eggen has scored at least 25% of Archbishop Bergan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Baker, who scored 15 points.
The win got Archbishop Bergan back to even at 1-1. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Omaha Nation the next time they take the court. Bancroft-Rosalie will host Omaha Nation on Tuesday, while Archbishop Bergan will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
