Volleyball Recap: Lapel Beats Taylor for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Lapel entered their tilt with Taylor on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-16.

Laniah Wills paced Lapel's offense, picking up ten kills. Wills got some help from Bella Roland and her 31 assists. Wills was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Lapel's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Taylor, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Lapel will take on Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor, they will square off against Tipton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
