Baseball Game Preview: Sierra Timberwolves vs. Patterson Tigers

Sierra is 0-3 against Patterson since April of 2025 but things could change on Monday. The Timberwolves will head out to face off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Patterson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Sierra, who comes in off a win.

Sierra gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Downey 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Timberwolves.

Koa Rodrigues spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sierra's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chad Simas Jr., who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Patterson challenged Gregori on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 1-0.

Patterson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Sierra, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
