Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Collin Knox and Kish Jacobs Lead Moberly to Victory

Moberly hadn't done well against Fulton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Moberly Spartans enjoyed a cozy 64-50 victory over the Fulton Hornets. The win was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Moberly was led to victory by Kish Jacobs and Collin Knox. Jacobs went 6 for 12 on his way to 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Knox almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards. Those seven rebounds gave Jacobs a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Bivins, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points.

Moberly's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Fulton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moberly will host Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fulton has already played their next match (against South Callaway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
