Football Game Preview: Union Yellowjackets vs. Southeast Lauderdale Tigers

The Union Yellowjackets will take on the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Union will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Union didn't have too much trouble with Clarkdale as they won 25-7.

Myilan Moore had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 195 yards and one TD, while also rushing for 43 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Lauderdale). They walked away with a 26-15 win over St. Andrew's Episcopal on Friday. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Tigers were down 15-0 in the second quarter.

Union's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Southeast Lauderdale, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Union against Southeast Lauderdale when the teams last played back in September of 2022, as the squad secured a 35-0 win. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
