Basketball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost to Westminster back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions took a 67-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owls.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Westminster, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7-1 record this season.

Liberty will host Manchester Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' defense better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 55.1 points per game this season. As for Westminster, they will face off against South Carroll on Tuesday. The Owls are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
