Softball Recap: Hamilton Township Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Hamilton Township's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Logan Elm Braves on Wednesday. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Hamilton Township saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was A Belin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Hamilton Township's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Logan Elm, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hamilton Township will head out on the road to face off against Liberty Union at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Rangers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Logan Elm, they have already played their next game, a 17-15 victory against Fairfield Union on the 24th.
