Volleyball Recap: Washington County Comes Up Short

Washington County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the North East Carolina Prep Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

Washington County's record is now 1-7. As for North East Carolina Prep, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Washington County will face off against rival Rocky Mount Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North East Carolina Prep is set to challenge their familiar foe North Edgecombe at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
