Josiah'ez Stevenson Delivers Best Effort of Season

Josiah'Ez Stevenson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Northglenn to the win on Thursday. Stevenson rushed for 308 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 18.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 92-yard run.

Northglenn's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. Stevenson and Northglenn will take on Boulder at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jarrius Ward Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

On Friday, Overland got the W thanks in part to Jarrius Ward playing the best football he has all season. Ward rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.

This season, Ward has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 94.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.71 rushing yards per game.
