Volleyball Recap: Silverton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Silverton lost against South Albany back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Foxes came up short against the Redhawks, falling 3-0. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Silverton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Kylie Kjall and Anna Curtiss, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Rylee McMillan and her 13 assists. Curtiss and McMillan didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Silverton's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for South Albany, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Silverton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against McKay on the 2nd. As for South Albany, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Corvallis on the 2nd.
