Volleyball Recap: Minooka Beats Plainfield North for Their Fourth Straight Win

Minooka had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Plainfield North Tigers by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Minooka easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12.

Kendall Kozak paced Minooka's offense, picking up five kills. Kozak got some help from Kennedy Walker and her nine assists. Kozak was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Minooka's record now sits at 23-10. As for Plainfield North, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.

Looking ahead, Minooka will challenge Marist at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Plainfield North, they will welcome Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
