Baseball Recap: Camden Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Camden Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against the Harpeth Indians, falling 13-1. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Camden Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carl Baker, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Camden Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Harpeth, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Camden Central will host Dresden at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harpeth, they will venture away from home to face off against East Hickman County at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
