Recap: Bellevue Christian Vikings vs. Life Christian Academy Eagles
The Bellevue Christian Vikings were the 53-6 winner over the Life Christian Academy Eagles when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bellevue Christian ended up on the wrong side of a tough 31-8 walloping at the hands of Life Christian Academy on Friday.
When it comes to explaining why Bellevue Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tristan Drummond. Despite the final result, he rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Drummond was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Life Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jabez Boyd, who threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Julian Roso, who picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Bellevue Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Life Christian Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellevue Christian will take on East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Life Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Vashon Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
