After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside, AHSTW was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tri-Center Trojans, sneaking past 9-8. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

AHSTW's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-5-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Tri-Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

AHSTW will challenge Logan-Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Tri-Center has already played their next contest (against Lincoln), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
