Gompers Prep Academy waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Bayfront Charter Sharks by a score of 7-4. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly three runs.

The team relied heavily on Carson Chhorm, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases were his first of the season. Hugo Rangel was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Gompers Prep Academy's record is now 4-5. As for Bayfront Charter, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Gompers Prep Academy and Bayfront Charter will both be playing High Tech Mesa the next time they take the field. The Sharks will host the Thunder at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
